Linear Configuration
“We are very pleased with the appearance, the product, and the company itself.”
-Pat Ramos, Communication Supervisor for the Montebello Police Department

Montebello’s 21’ X 24’ floor plan required two standard stations with ample console space for independent monitor arrays, two extra-wide workstations to comfortably seat two people each during training sessions, and a clear sight line from each position to a shared bank of screens. According to Ramos, many agencies overlook the need for adequate training space which often leaves one dispatcher sitting behind another during critical instruction.

The comprehensive solution for Montebello was two theatre-style rows of side-by-side stations with custom designed, dual-access storage. According to Ramos, “Watson measured and re-measured to make a solution that worked. The shared resources are useful and we’re very happy with the workstations.”

The Montebello installation includes four Synergy 2™ linear positions, complete with depth adjustment platforms for monitor arrays, the Total Comfort System™ for all environmental controls, and custom rotating-resource shared storage.
